Foods Blackberry - rich and purple smelling - not a plastic-y fake. Blackberry Sage - sweet and fruity with an undertone of dried sage. Citron et Figue - rich lemon-fig blend begins with citrusy top notes of essential oils of lemon and orange. It blooms into a fruity-floral heart of ginger, apple, geranium, real rose and green tea absolutes, and a touch of mint. The warm drydown consists of fig, spice, amber, and white musk. You know all those exotic new candle brands -- the ones where even a votive is, like, $30 and comes in its own tiny crate sitting on a bed of shredded cashmere? Citron et Figue is the kind of mesmerizing, expensive-smelling scent that you'd find in one of those . . .but not at the crazy "more dollars than sense" price. Coconut - Sweet and nutty, but not syrupy - a great tropical scent. Cranberry Fig - tangy cranberry and sweet fig. Cucumber Melon - An always popular combo. FallHarvest - This scent captures the wonderful smell of an apple orchard in the fall -- crisp apple combines with almond and cinnamon. GingerFig - An exotic, fruity blend, with top notes of lemon, ginger, and orange leading to a warm middle of fig, plum, clover, and honeysuckle. Bottom notes of vanilla, sandalwood, and heliotrope add sweetness and staying power. An interesting twist on ginger, which is hot, hot, hot right now. This one is our absolute favorite. Honeydew Melon - A wonderful green melon. Jillie's Smoky Pear - Sweet pears, ginger and a touch of wood smoke make this most unusual, but intriguing blend. LimeGinger - Fresh lime with warm ginger makes an irresistible scent. LimeCoconut - Ya put de lime in de coconut, mix it all up... Mandarin Orange - Bright tangerine scent. Pink Grapefruit - A blend of fresh and juicy grapefruit slices with slight nuances of orange peel. In aromatherapy, grapefruit (particularly pink grapefruit) is noted for brightening up mental processes and is invigorating. Pomegranate - tart fruity and delish. Not overly sweet, with a nice juicy bite. Not at all tuity-fruity, in fact it's one of my husband's favorites. Red Grapefruit Sorbet - fruity sweet grapefruit and red currants. Summer Peach - Wonderfully realistic and peachy, which means tart, sweet, and juicy -- with none of that icky chemical smell found in most synthetic peach oils. Tangerine Spice - Tangerine with cinnamon and cloves. Watermelon - A favorite for all kids, big and small. Yuzu - An unbelievable Japanese Citrus that smells like grapefruit times 10. BalsamPine - A nice blend of balsam, pine, and some mellower, citrusy notes -- Very unisex, even a bit masculine. Smells like a Christmas tree forest! BasilBlossoms - Not a licorice-y, pesto-y basil -- because who wants to smell like that?! This is a delectable kind of blend, wherein Vietnamese basil oil is brightened with citrusy top notes of orange Brazil and lemon Argentina. A kicky green middle of spearmint, honeysuckle, and hay leads to a woodsy bottom accented with oakmoss. BirchForest - a classic fruity-green-herbal blend, with top notes of cypress, sage, armoise, lemon, juniper berry, and eucalyptus. Herbal heart notes include rosemary, lavender, and lemongrass, which are supported with a bottom of sandalwood and fir balsam. A dupe of Badedas, a popular European scent. Cactus - A fresh, green herbal blend with a Southwestern twist. Cool Citrus Basil - It's citrus, it's basil, it's wonderful! Cucumber - An eternal favorite - clean and green. Cucumber & Chamomile - Crisp green garden cucumbers mellowed with country chamomile to form a fresh, cool blend perfect for spring and summer. Notes of cucumber and chamomile are supported by a heart of green grass and honey, with a sheer base of waterlily and white musk. Cucumber Ginseng - A blend of fresh cucumber and energizing ginseng notes Desert Sage - lush green sage, like the desert after a storm Eucalyptus (Thymes Ltd. type) - not a sinus-blasting, cold-remedy type of eucalyptus (like the EO), but a clean, fresh, complex green blend. The blend begins with essential oils of eucalyptus, pine, bergamot, lemon, lime, and petitgrain, leading to a floral middle of jasmine, rose, lily of the valley, ylang, and tagetes (essential oil of marigold). The soft, musky bottom also contains essential oil of patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, and vanilla. BOTTOM LINE: A very pleasing green, unisex, upscale fragrance FallingLeaves - A figgy, leafy fragrance that's like autumn in a bottle. Green fig notes combine with Italian and Brazilian orange in the top, leading to a floral middle with notes of deep violet, with a foresty finish of bois de rose, musk, and oakmoss. FreshGrass - Just like a freshly mowed lawn. GreenTea - a wonderfully lemony green tea. Juniper Breeze - Bed Bath & Bodyworks type - slightly floral, with a crisp lime and smooth juniper. Lavender (EO)- Our lavender is Bulgarian lavender; not as medicinal as most lavenders, it has a softer, sweeter scent. Lavender & Cedar - Floral-woody top notes of lavender essential oil open the fragrance, along with natural cedarleaf and rosemary. The theme continues with pure lavandin and cedarwood oils in the middle, leading to a sweet, earthy drydown thanks to essential oil of patchouli and a touch of musk. Made into an AromaWater, it will keep moths away from your precious woolens! LemonBalm - A zesty lemon scent with supporting notes of lime, mandarin, grapefruit, and litsea cubeba. Fresh and clean herbal accents include lemongrass, thyme, cornmint, citronella, and eucalyptus. The woody green back notes are patchouli, pine, cedarwood, andmusk. LemonVerbena - An upscale, complex blend, with rich lemony top notes giving way to a green floral-herbal base full of strange, wonderful things like marigold, jonquil, and vetiver. Lettuce - Beautiful floral that is surprisingly just like a lettuce leaf. Purely Herbal - reminiscent of Clairol's Herbal Essences shampoo, with top notes of grapefruit, lime, and bergamot. Other components include peach, green apple, and black currant. A floral heart of ylang, muguet, heather, and jasmine dries down to a warm, woody base of sandalwood and oakmoss. Despite all the fruit and flowers, guy really like this one! Oakmoss - Earthy, foresty scent - imagine yourself in the deep dark primeval forest. Inhale. That's Oakmoss. Red Clover Tea - A light fruity and floral combination with fresh jasmine, lily of the valley, violets and lavender topped off with notes of fresh ripe peaches and raspberries. RosemaryMint - Our version of Aveda's luscious rosemary-mint blend. SageFields - This is a delightful blend of herb and citrus, with top notes of orange and lemon complementing the sage. A muguet-geranium midsection leads to a balsamic, musky bottom. Fresh, fresh, fresh -- a very lemon-y, sage-y unisex blend. Sage & Citrus - just like Yankee Candle's great scent! SeaWeed (EO Blend) - kelpy ocean scent. SweetGrass - A complex, fresh, grassy fragrance with a bit of a sweet note. In Europe, the dried herb was often used to sweeten stored clothes and linens, and a combination of sweetgrass and sage is used in American Indian purification rituals. TomatoLeaf - An intoxicating, irresistible green herbal blend --amazingly close to the smell of fresh tomato vines. Think marvelous, not marinara. White Tea - Fresh citrus top notes of lemon, lime and grapefruit and orange with warm nuances of exotic jasmine. Wasabi - Wasabi fragrance is bright and fresh. It won't make your nose burn or eyes water like the horseradish wasabi, but its hints of Eucalyptus, Ginger and Peppermint will delight you. Amber - A fragrance mainstay, with a warm, sweet, woodsy note . BayRum - The mens classic - still a favorite. DragonsBlood - warm, spicy, sexy and inviting. Derived from a plant resin - no dragons were harmed making this - we promise. Fata Morgana - Named for the shapeshifter, Morgan Le Fay, who was the faerie half-sister of King Arthur, Fata Morgana is a mirage, or an optical illusion. The phenomenon results from a temperature inversion, and distant objects may shimmer or look like castles, or cooler air on the ground may make an upside down reflection. Our Fata Morgana™ has all the allure of a mystical spell. Firmly grounded with Moroccan Thyine Wood, Mysore Sandalwood, Egyptian Musk and Exotic Spices, our “shapeshifter” has a heart of Red Marrakech Amber, Red Tea, Turkish Red Rose, topped with lilting Valencia Orange, Sicillian Femminnello Lemon and sweet Lattarula fig, Mexican Torch Flower and French Mimosa. Ginger
Souffle -
Fresh ground ginger with clove buds, cinnamon sticks and
vanilla beans Ginger Essence (Origins type) - Warm notes of ginger are enhanced by lemon, black currant, and nutmeg, leading to a floral jasmine-led middle, with a sweet, smooth drydown of white musk and amber. This has an added citrus kick that really reminds me of Origins Spring Fever, but with a little extra warmth of ginger. Love it! Nutcracker - sparkling citrus top notes mingled with fir needles and mulberry spice, ending with a cozy blend of nutmeg and cinnamon. Patchouli - The classic essential oil of the 60's. Pumpkin Spice - Delectable notes of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, cardamom, and pimento leaf lend warmth to a green, balsamic heart. The drydown brings together rich vanilla and sweet caramel for a mouthwatering finale. For what it's worth, fragrance researchers claim that the scent of pumpkin pie filling will turn men into helpless love slaves, content to sit immobile for hours while you use their arms as a yarn-winder. SandalwoodPatchouli - For those who find Patchouli a little too "hippy" - Sandalwood softens, sweetens and updates it. SeaSpice - A masculine ocean scent sure to please anyone who likes the straightforwardness of fragrances like Bay Rum or Spicy Lime. Fresh top notes of ozone ("fresh air") and citrus lead to a strong middle of sea kelp, champagne, and salty air. This shore essence is completed with soft notes of driftwood, musk, and just a hint of Indonesian clove oil. SpicyLime - Crisp Peruvian lime essential oil is rounded out with notes of Indonesian clove, ginger oil from India, and nutmeg. And, according to the perfumer who created this, the "secret to this fragrance" is the depth-adding drydown of vanilla bean, patchouli, and sandalwood. Spicy Chai - Cinnamon and honey, with black tea and vanilla with a dash of nutmeg. Teak & Frankincense - woodsy with undertones of frankincense... very warm and seductive smelling! Nice for men and women! VanillaCinnamon - Sweet vanilla blended with spicy cinnamon leaf essential oil. VanillaSandalwood - Warm and complex, with just a touch of patchouli. Yule Spice - A spicy blend of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and orange with a hint of vanilla. Witches Brew - Woody, spicy blend of cinnamon leaves and patchouli twigs CafeLatte - Creamy coffee cappuccino scent with hints of hazelnut. Chocolate - Chocolate fragrance oils can be pretty dicey -- either wan and weak like a Tootsie Roll, or flat and harsh. This chocolate fragrance is the exception -- very full-bodied and rich. Coffee - Smells fresh brewed! Honeycomb - a pure honey scent, with just a touch of vanilla - really nice in lotions and scrubs. HoneyAlmond - Sweet and fragrant. Oatmeal, Milk & Honey -This blend is a perfect marriage of oatmeal, milk, and honey -- mellow, soothing, with just a hint of sweetness -- the comfort food of fragrance oils. Toasted Almond - A sweet, nutty, creamy almond blend with vanilla and amber wood in the drydown and the unmistakable rich notes of oven-toasted almonds throughout. WarmVanilla - A rich, buttery vanilla. VanillaCinnamon - Sweet vanilla blended with spicy cinnamon leaf essential oil. Vanilla Lavender - This fragrance has pleasing, well-matched notes of lavender and vanilla with additional touches of rose, ylang, rosemary, lemon, basil, thyme, and patchouli. This is a wonderful, dreamy mix. BergamotMint - Bergamot orange blended with mint - very nice. CitrusMint - This cool, invigorating blend starts with natural spearmint, lemon, and lime oils. Middle notes of jasmine, rose, carnation, and hyacinth lead to a base of rich vanilla, musk, and spicy and woody notes. Peppermint - cool and bracing CleanSheets - Like freshly washed sheets hung in a warm breeze to dry. Clean, airy top notes give way to a floral heart of jasmine, rose, orange blossom, and ylang, completed by a lasting base of balsam and precious woods. CucumberRose - I know, I know - it sounds bizarre. But it's an amazing combination, loved by women and men! FlowerBomb
(Viktor & Rolf type) Fragrance - Flowerbomb
is the first foray into perfumery by Dutch fashion design team Viktor
& Rolf, and they brought very definite ideas to the fragrance table.
They were determined that the scent be filled with flowers, flowers, and
more flowers (thus the name "Flowerbomb"). Our most excellent
perfumers have fashioned their own version of this top-selling scent,
which begins with top notes of bergamot, tea, and peony, leading to an
explosive flowery midsection of real jasmine absolute, freesia, orchid,
orangeflower, and a kiss of peach, with a warm, sweet drydown of cedarwood,
patchouli, amber, leather, musk, and vanilla. Jasmine - Heady and tropical. Lilac - A classic, and very true to the real thing. Lotus Blossom - A lush, soft floral. Relaxed Focus™ - Our own Aromatherapy blend of Bulgarian Lavender, Bergamot and Ylang Ylang - Perfect for when you need to be tranquil, yet concentrate on the task at hand. Sweet Pea (BBW type) - A green spring-fresh bouquet with a top-note reminiscent of watery-green leaves, lily of the valley, and summer melon and apple. The middle-note is a floral medley of jasmine & rose with a zesty blend of Orange and lemon oils and a base-note of white musk and vetiver. A "dead on" BBW duplication type scent. TrueRose - Just like holding a real rose - not fake or plastic-y. Violet - Think Grandma? Think again - this one is really popular once more. Ylang Ylang - Tropical and intense. Vanilla Lavender - This fragrance has pleasing, well-matched notes of lavender and vanilla with additional touches of rose, ylang, rosemary, lemon, basil, thyme, and patchouli. This is a wonderful, dreamy mix. Angel (type) - An incredible duplication of the famous perfume of the same name by French haute couturier Thierry Mugler. When creating Angel, Mugler asked the perfumer to combine all the most wonderful scents of childhood -- roasted hazelnuts, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, honey. Apothecary Grapefruit (Kiels type) - Kiehl's began as a forward-thinking neighborhood apothecary in the heart of New York City in 1851, in a large, sunny store at the corner of Thirteenth Street and Third Avenue that exists and thrives to this day. Connoisseurs of skin-care know Kiehl's as a leader in upscale products. Our interpretation of Kiehl's Grapefruit fragrance is citrusy and intense, and very different from our Pink Grapefruit or Yuzu fragrances. The grapefruit notes are enhanced and softened with touches of plum, rose, and warm woods. Apothecary Musk (Kiels type) - What makes this musk different from other ones? According to the perfumer who created this, most musks contain a small quantity of musk and then lots and lots of other supporting synthetics. Apothecary Musk, on the other hand, starts with a generous glug of musk, which is supplemented with touches of natural ylang and patchouli. This musk is most definitely unisex, and the essential oils keep it earthy and grounded as opposed to perfumey or sexy. Applejack & Peel (type) - A right-on duplication of the Claire Burke scent of the same name. An irresistible blend of baked apple, orange peel, and spice notes of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. It's finished off with just a kiss of vanilla. Aquolina Pink Sugar (type) - Our excellent duplication of this boutique best-seller begins with notes of sweet, sugary lemon drops and pink cotton candy. A fruity-floral middle of red fruit, fig leaves, caramel and raspberry leads to a sweet vanilla-musk base. Badedas - A dupe of the popular European scent - a classic fruity-green-herbal blend, with top notes of cypress, sage, armoise, lemon, juniper berry, and eucalyptus. Herbal heart notes include rosemary, lavender, and lemongrass, which are supported with a bottom of sandalwood and fir balsam. Child (type) - an incredibly over-the-top fragrance, a riveting fusion of equal parts sweet innocence and brazen flirtation. This exotic and heady floral composition starts with soft yet diffusive fresh tropical floral notes, which give way to a dizzying floral body of jasmine, tuberose, heliotrope, and narcissus. A sexy, balancing bottom is provided by forest foliage, moss, and a particularly clean, long-lasting musk. Clean (type) - super-clean and lemony fresh -- like Ivory Soap if you brought it into the 21st century with a gigantic shot of extra personality, strength, and pizzazz. Top notes of black currant, essential oil of lime, and lemon oil from Italy lead to a soapy, aldehydic midsection highlighted by rose, jasmine, pink grapefruit, and geranium, with violet, white musk, and soft woods notes in the drydown. Eucalyptus (Thymes Ltd. type) - not a sinus-blasting, cold-remedy type of eucalyptus (like the EO), but a clean, fresh, complex green blend. BOTTOM LINE: A very pleasing green, unisex, upscale fragrance. FlowerBomb

This has an added citrus kick that really reminds me of Origins Spring Fever, but with a little extra warmth of ginger. Love it! Juniper Breeze (BB&BW type) - slightly floral, with a crisp lime and smooth juniper. Ocean Rain - A great unisex combination of sea and rain notes -- very strong and "Atlantic seaboard." Red Currant (Votivo type) - Sweet and tart at the same time, Red Currant is a thoroughly modern, intoxicating berry scent that hypnotizes and charms all who smell it. Sweet Pea (BBW type) - A green spring-fresh bouquet with a top-note reminiscent of watery-green leaves, lily of the valley, and summer melon and apple. The soft, musky bottom also contains essential oil of patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, and vanilla. BOTTOM LINE: A very pleasing green, unisex, upscale fragrance. Gin Martini - Crisp and sophisticated, with just a touch of Rat Pack swank! Ingredients include Canadian juniperberry oil blended with Siberian fir needle, plus a jigger of ginger and a dash of vermouth essence.
